Ornuthi Thalassa était déjà une œuvre folle ; Mirror in Darkness est une offrande au chaos. Plusieurs pistes pétrifient par leur tornade de violence, comme "Ausweg" ou "Amphiclasm" mais toutes sont très techniques avec une tension électrique. Éclatant ! Favorite track: Apophenia.

Dave Aftandilian I love how off-balance this album makes me feel: a whirling kaleidoscopic sideshow of twisted funhouse versions of (un)reality. At moments you may think you’ve found blessed serenity, but they never last. All is in constant flux, going to hell in a million different directions at once. There is nowhere to turn for solace, no place that is fully at peace, especially inside our own heads. Embrace this creative chaos or die.

Researched Icelandic bands before being able to visit the country in 2019 and found primarily Misþyrming!!!! They reignited and intensified an existing ( and somewhat on the back burner at the time ) love of heavy music. Even listened on the flight there!
